I like to imagine these forgotten roads, used by the rural population going to the city for the great fairs and markets of the time. The bridges and the entrances of the cities were tollgates where pilgrims, peddlers, storytellers, merchants, big traders… and thugs would cross!
Uzès, a land of exception for its soil, its heritage and its culture, its parks and gardens, its walking routes. From the road to Nîmes, the three towers of power, ducal, royal and religious, stand jealously guarded by the peaks of light. The cypresses, sometimes centenarians, try to compete with verticality. They line the routes through the old town and leave an impression of the limits of Tuscany.
